Five-Diamond Employees Named
The Ohio Auto Club recognizes outstanding employees who demonstrate the values outlined in the club’s Five-Diamond Service Standards. Associates are recognized monthly based on input from various sources, including nominations from peers, feedback from internal and external surveys, and other unsolicited feedback.
Tammy Macklin was named as the Five Diamond Employee of the Month for January. Macklin is a counselor in the Member Assistance Center at club headquarters and was recognized in the category of Extraordinary Performance.
One member wrote:
“I was pretty scared being on the side of the highway, but when I called, Tammy was amazing and calmed me down and located me with my longitude and latitude points. Even after being disconnected on the phone, she called me back instantly and reassured me she was not going to leave me hanging and that someone was coming my way. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment from customer service. Thank you!”
Ray Huffer was selected as the Five Diamond Employee of the Month for February. Huffer is a tow truck operator with fleet services and was recognized in the categories of Extraordinary Performance and Noteworthy Accomplishment.
Said one member:
“The driver was super nice and friendly and he got me out of the potentially dangerous shoulder of I-270 promptly. No damage was made to the car and honestly I was beyond impressed with his professionalism and promptness during a very busy time. Your driver deserves my many thanks. Thank you, AAA for hiring quality people with quality prompt service. Nothing but compliments from me.”
Kristina Trase was named Five Diamond Employee of the Month for March. Trase is the sales manager at the Medina store and was recognized in the category of Exceptional Leadership.
Associates who have worked with Trase shared many glowing comments, including this one:
“Kristina acted as interim manager for the Canton store while we were waiting to hire someone. She was extremely helpful if we had any issues and helped with customer overflow. Kristina is very caring and listened to all of our ideas and concerns whenever we had any. Kristina was always so positive and she motivated us every day. We loved having her in our store!”
Straton Kephart was named Five Diamond Employee of the Month for April. The Member Assistance Center performance coach in Akron was recognized in the categories of Exceptional Leadership, Extraordinary Performance and Problem Solving.
The following comments were submitted regarding Kephart’s performance:
“Throughout the merger of the Ohio Auto Club and the Akron Auto Club, Straton has been tremendously impactful in the successes that we have experienced in the MAC. There is no challenge that is too much for him to handle. I can say with certainty that his work ethic would be hard to match, and the respect he has earned from his co-workers is second to none.”
“Straton is an outstanding member of the team in Akron, and has been an incredible contributor as a new member of the OAC family. He is blessed with a strong work ethic and a personal character that grows his own success, while enabling and strengthening those he works with.”
