with its Rockstar Mini Golf course at the resort. It also has a bowling alley, escape room and laser tag facility at the resort, if you get bored looking at the sea creatures or working on your tan. And, being a Hard Rock Hotel,
it will have a broad collection of rock memorabilia from both international and local artists.
With the word in its name, you can expect nothing but luxury from the Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar. The adults-only, all-suite resort underwent a complete renovation in 2018. Besides swim-up bars, this resort has swim-out rooms. Not only can you borrow equipment to go kayaking, boogie boarding or snorkeling here, but you also can rent a catamaran.
PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO
Situated on the Pacific Ocean, this beach city is one of the largest along the Mexican Riviera. It is one of the more popular cruise ship destinations because of its large port area and variety of activities to do in the city.
Besides sailing, you can windsurf, parasail and kayak in Banderas Bay, the natural bay off the coast. Fishing in the bay, either on a boat or from the beach, or taking an all-day charter out to go deep-sea fishing are popular.
If you want to go hiking, then you can head for the hills since the city rests at the foot of the Sierras Cuale and San Sebastián. Or you can study the history of the town, which was founded in 1851 with many original and old buildings still standing.
However, one of the draws of the city is the state that it is located in, Jalisco. Mexican laws state that tequila can only be produced in the state of Jalisco and limited

municipalities of other states, so the majority of tequila is produced here.
You could make the Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa your basecamp in Puerto Vallarta as it sits on the beach of Banderas Bay. It offers two clubs, one for youth and one for teenagers, and features movies on the beach as well as certain spa treatments on the beach.
Besides being a TripTrust hotel, the Iberostar Playa Mita is a AAA Four Diamond resort offering more than 450 rooms and 120 suites on the beach. Along with your typical watersports – kayaking, snorkeling and windsurfing – the resort also offers scuba lessons. And on top of that, there is a Greg Norman-designed, 18-hole golf course onsite, in case you want to work on your golf game, and your tan.
At the Riu Vallarta, you are sure to not go hungry as four restaurants are sure to please even the pickiest eater in your group. The resort, which was just renovated in 2019, caters to families and couples and features five pools, one with a swim-up bar. Along with the TripTrust badge, the Riu Vallarta was recently honored by the Mexican Institute
of Social Security with a health safety badge, which “guarantees a healthy return to the workplace in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic,” tourism officials said.
