This exhibition will critically explore complex human issues that can shape and influence positive change
in food security and offer audiences an opportunity to visualize and think critically about this serious social issue that affects us all. The exhibition will provide a forum for artists to share powerful artistic responses and initiate social change. Food Justice will showcase cutting-edge works by 16 nationally and internationally recognized contemporary artists who address topics relevant to
the exhibition in their practice while acknowledging processes and forms rooted in the craft tradition.

“Raphael — The Power of Renaissance
Imagery: The Dresden Tapestries and Their
Impact”

The exhibition is centered on six extraordinary and rare tapestries on loan from GAM, Dresden, Germany, one of Europe’s most renowned museums. This will be the tapestries’ first ever trip to the United States and likely their only visit for many generations. These breathtaking, monumental works are believed to have been woven directly from painted compositions created by the Renaissance master Raphael in 1515, which also were used to create the tapestries that still hang in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel. These tapestries are among the most influential works in the history of Western European art.

“Charley Harper Art” Exhibition

The Grange Insurance Audubon Center presents “Charley Harper Art” featuring the work of renowned American (Cincinnati-based) artist Charley Harper. Harper’s unique minimalist approach is unmistakable. From his groundbreaking mid-century illustrations for Ford Times Magazine and Golden Books and his impeccably composed posters for the National Parks and other wildlife organizations, Harper’s art is a beloved treasure and an inspiration to an entire generation of artists and designers.
The exhibition will feature 80 framed pieces available for purchase and a gift shop featuring Harper merchandise ranging from mugs, apparel, home décor, stationary, ornaments and more.
