Vine & Bine Trail Opens Delaware County

There are so many reasons to visit Delaware County: art, history, unique shopping and dining, outdoor and indoor attractions and many wonderful parks. Now there’s a new trail to hike: the Delaware County Vine & Bine Trail. And it has some amazing finds for those searching for great craft beer and wine.
The Vine & Bine Trail, which runs between the cities of Delaware and Powell, for now, is self-guided and can be started at any establishment (or Trail Host). Hosts provide visitors with the background and stories about their award-winning offerings. The Vine & Bine Trail can be traversed any time of the year.

“Fused: Garden Gallery of
Art & Metal”

Inspired by the paintings of Gertrude Seiberling, Stan Hywet presents “Fused: Garden Gallery of Art & Metal,” a garden installation of 15 one-of-a-kind metal sculptures. This outdoor exhibit complements Gertrude’s paintings on display in
the Manor House. Stan Hywet, along with staff member and artist Joe Ott and four local artists – Mike Esminger, Megan Louise Shane, Kim Thomas and Stephen Yusko – have created the unique metal sculptures.
Each artist has designed and
built three sculptures for the exhibit, two of which are inspired by the paintings of Gertrude Seiberling.
All of the sculptures in the exhibition are for sale.

“Shared Visions: Passions of the Human Spirit” Ohio Craft Museum

“Shared Visions: Passions of the Human Spirit” will showcase more than 100 works in a variety of media made in eight Ohio studios serving artists with disabilities and will highlight the collaborative nature of the studios.

For nearly 150 years, every Ohio State student has lived their own unique experience as a member of Buckeye Nation. But university life also binds each generation together with traditions, orientations, commencement, classes, campus living and activities that make up the web of a student’s life.
“Celebrating 150 Years: The Ohio State Student Experience,” a free exhibition culled from the University Archives, celebrates the shared past that exemplifies The Ohio State University’s student experience throughout the university’s illustrious history. The exhibit includes artifacts highlighting fascinating and everyday moments of student life on campus.
