“Rare and Wondrous” will look at the ways birds – particularly exotic birds brought from foreign lands – informed European culture in the early modern era, not just in art but science, decorative design and fashion. It also will acknowledge the contributions indigenous and enslaved people made to European scientific knowledge about birds and their visual representation.

Seven years in the making, Mary Whyte’s real-life tribute to veterans and service. The exhibition is comprised of 50 large-scale watercolor portraits of veterans of all ages and walks of life.
