  AAA Ohio Names New President
David McMullen has been named to succeed AAA Ohio Auto Club President and CEO Mark H. Shaw, who has served in that role since May 2002.
McMullen began his tenure on Jan. 2. He previously served as vice president of Insurance & Financial Services for the AAA Ohio Auto Club since 2013. In that position, McMullen was credited with significantly growing revenue, improving employee retention and enhancing policy retention.
Before joining the executive staff at AAA Ohio Auto Club, McMullen served as president and CEO of Kentucky National Insurance Group after serving five years as director of Insurance Sales for AAA Allied Group. Early on in his career he owned the McMullen Insurance Agency.
McMullen earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Northern Kentucky University. He and his wife, Alisa, have three daughters.
