Hertz Earns Top Honors for Customer Satisfaction
AAA partner Hertz has earned the No. 1 overall ranking in the J.D. Power 2019 North America Rental Car Satisfaction Study.
Hertz President and CEO Kathryn Marinello said implementing customer feedback was key to the company’s success.
“We’re constantly listening to them and acting on their feedback to improve their overall experience,” she said.
Hertz also placed first in categories including reservations, pick-up and returns, and cost. In addition, J.D. Power recognized Hertz’s efforts to upgrade its fleet and amenities and programs.
Hertz has been a AAA partner for more than 40 years and the relationship is one of the association’s most important strategic partnerships. The current AAA/Hertz contract extends through the end of 2020.
AAA Vice President of Discounts & Rewards Scott Denman said the value offered by the AAA/Hertz
partnership comes not just in the savings, but in the quality of the product.

Service Hints for Emergency Road Service
• AAA service is available to a member who is driving or riding in a qualified vehicle that becomes disabled. Be sure to present a valid membership card and photo ID.
• During extreme weather
conditions that result
in service delays, AAA
will provide service on a priority basis, tending first to those broken down on streets and highways. As equipment becomes available, service will be provided to vehicles at home or parked off the road.
• Download the AAA app. It offers many helpful features, including the ability to request emergency road service online.
