Letter from the President
Dear AAA Members:
As we enter into 2021, now is the time for us to look forward to new beginnings and it is my pleasure to announce the uniting of two AAA clubs within our great state of Ohio. Jan. 1, 2021, marked a very special day on which we officially welcomed Akron Automobile Club’s employees and 94,000 members as part of the AAA Ohio Auto Club family.
By combining the strengths of our organizations, AAA Ohio Auto Club’s position within the federation has grown to become the 8th largest AAA club in North America and remains the largest club in Ohio, representing more than 865,000 members in our 38-county footprint.
The Ohio Auto Club has closely aligned with the Akron Automobile Club for some time. Since its formation in 1906, Akron Auto Club has been devoted to serving the best
interests of the AAA members and residents of Summit
County. This merger represents the union of two clubs closely matched in corporate philosophy, sharing the same passion and core values centered on the safety, security and peace-of-mind of its members, trusted employees and local communities.
Together, we will enrich our brand by providing stronger product offerings and services to our members while offering additional career opportunities to our employees – all while serving a larger footprint in Ohio.
As Ohio Auto Club continues to grow, our continued pledge to deliver unparalleled service and competitive products through exceptional member experiences remains unchanged. Leveraging the expertise of our teams, we remain committed to evaluating and offering you additional benefits that will further enhance the value of your membership, such as the launch of free identity-theft protection made available to you, just for being a member.
