Five-Diamond Employees Named
The Ohio Auto Club recognizes outstanding employees who demonstrate the values outlined in the club’s Five-Diamond Service Standards. Associates are recognized monthly based on input from various sources, including nominations from peers, feedback from internal and external surveys, and other unsolicited feedback.
Employees can be nominated based on the following service categories:
• Noteworthy Accomplishment • Extraordinary Performance
• Exceptional Leadership
• Problem Resolution
• Innovation
The most recent Five Diamond Employees of the Month include:
Ray Conkle was named Five Diamond Employee of the Month for May. Ray is the manager at the Columbus N.W. Car Care Plus center and was recognized for his performance in the categories of Exceptional Leadership and Extraordinary Performance.
Here’s what a couple members had to say about Ray:
“Amazing customer service. I would highly recommend AAA Car Care Plus! I had an excellent experience today and the service manager, Ray Conkle, was wonderful!”
“We drive an extra 20 minutes to take our cars to Ray. We miss him on Hamilton Road. I love that we can text him what we need and he always responds quickly. I trust no one more than Ray to oversee our car repairs.”
Jessica Adamson was named Five Diamond Employee of the Month for June. Jessica is an insurance agent at the AAA West Chester store and was recognized for Extraordinary Performance. Below are some of the comments received from Jessica’s peers and supervisors:
“Jessica embodies the Five Diamond spirit. She is an incredible employee that goes above and beyond for both members and fellow associates. Jessica comes into work with a positive attitude ready to take on the day. She strives to be a top performer.”
“Jessica never has a bad day. Her excitement and ‘Can-Do’ attitude are very contagious. We love her tenacity and her readiness to help assist our members. She is an excellent example of Five Diamond Service by always taking on every challenge she is given and she truly excels at it.”
Shawna Kellogg was selected as the AAA Five Diamond Employee of the Month for July. Shawna is the Payroll Administrator for AAA Ohio and was recognized for her performance in the categories of Extraordinary Performance and Problem Solving.
AAA Ohio’s human resources director wrote:
“Shawna Kellogg has taken the lead on transitioning Kronos to the new Dayforce system and has been a vital ‘member’ of the HR Team during this process, even though she is part of the Finance Team. Many times we have been presented with a problem that seems insurmountable and Shawna has researched and come up with a solution every time. She doesn’t know the word ‘can’t’ and works tenaciously until she finds the way to fix a problem.”
Service Hints for Emergency Road Service
AAA service is available to a member who is driving or riding in a qualified vehicle that becomes disabled. Be sure to present a valid membership card and photo ID.
During extreme weather conditions that result in service delays, AAA will provide service on a priority basis, tending first to those broken down on streets and highways. As equipment becomes available, service will be provided to vehicles at home or parked off the road.
Download the AAA app. It offers many helpful features, including the ability to request emergency road service online. AAA Ohio’s complete scope of service guidelines can be found at Ohio.AAA.com/ers/services/scope-of-service.html.
